Pretty Girls Love Trap Music and Good Food- Atlanta, GA
Atlanta is one of my favorite cities to visit. Most people think of Atlanta as being the strip club capital, but there is so much to do an you can get some of the best food in the South. On my most recent trip to Atlanta I got to check out T.I.’s “Trap Music Museum”, Milk & Honey, and Greens & Gravy.
The Trap Museum
The Museum is only $10.00 and for $30.00 you can go to the Museum and the Trap Escape Room. The rooms are staged as if you are really in a Trap house and take you through the history of trap music. The vibe and energy was EVERYTHING; I love US frfr. There is a bar complete with all of the hood snacks. There is no time limit for the museum. If you are ever in Atlanta be sure to check out the “Trap”.
Milk & Honey
I went to Milk & Honey for Sunday Brunch around 11 am. The wait time was 3 hours, but worth the wait. The service was great and very affordable. I’m pretty sure the honey on the butter biscuit is the same that is served in heaven. The shrimp and grits were good, but I’m not a fan of turkey sausage. Every time I am in Atlanta this is my new go to spot.
Greens & Gravy
I have been following the owner Darius for several years and I was highly disappointed. The greens were great, but that’s about it. The food was just okay, nothing that will make me want to dine-in again. The wait time was about an hour (not bad for a Sunday night). The restaurant is very small, maybe 15 tables. After the waitress took our order, we waited a hour for our food to come out. The waitress gave our sides to another couple who came in after us. Some of the sides we wanted were sold out. Another waitress noticed how long we were waiting and came over to help. They ended up giving us the desserts for free, which was great because the banana pudding and red velvet cake were disgusting. If they only served greens I would recommend this place. The owners newest restaurant Soul Crab is now open and when I return to Atlanta I will give it a try.
