OLG- Old Lady Gang- Atlanta, GA

Old Lady Gang AKA OLG has been around for a few years now and has many mixed reviews. I finally decided to give it a try on my most recent trip to Atlanta in February. There are two locations, I went to the second location located on Camp Creek. We went on a Friday night around 9 pm and were told it would be a two hour wait, some of the parties ahead of us left, and our wait ended up being 40-45 minutes. The menu selections are limited only 7 entrée, 7 appetizer, and 2 dessert options. They have a good drink menu. The entrees are named after Kandi’s family members. All of the servers were very friendly and ours kept coming to the table checking in. Our appetizer took about 20 minutes to come out and our entrees 35 minutes. Based on the reviews I honestly wasn’t expecting the food to be great as we went mainly for the experience. The whipped deviled eggs was my least favorite thing, I definitely would not try them again. The portion sizes were good for the price. The greens tasted like they were out of a can. The chicken, yams, and waffles were good. Overall I would rate this restaurant average; 3 out of 5.
